Alone With The Blues ist auf den ersten Blick eine Blues CD wie 100 andere auch, doch das Cover täuscht. Denn hier ist der Name Programm. Keith Dunn hat es fertig gebracht eine Scheibe zu veröffentlichen, auf denen nur Keiths Gesang & seine Harp zu hören ist. Keine Gitarren, keine Percussion, keine anderen Musiker im Studio. Das ist mutig und doch kommt dieses Projekt scheinbar genau passend, denn der Blues im allgemeinen und die Harp im Besonderen findet immer mehr Gehör.Keith Dunn hat schon über 30 Jahre Erfahrung als Musiker und stand schon mit Muddy Waters, James Cotton, Jimmy Rogers und Big Walter Horton auf knarzigen Dielenbrettern.

Die CD räumte auf im Einerlei der Lyric-Kiste, denn Dunn`s Texte sind alles andere als gewohnte Inhalte: Arbeitslosigkeit, ungewollte Schwangerschaften, Kriminalität.
Darüber darf nicht offen gesprochen oder gesungen werden, so auch hier. In den USA gab es sogar einige Boykotts.

Aber, das darf nicht unerwähnt bleiben: Keith bekam von der amerikanischen ISC ( International Songwriting Competition) einen Preis für diesen Song.
Dies war die zweite Auszeichnung, die erste bekam er für seinen Song "Need to make a Dollar, ebenfalls auf der CD ALONE WITH THE BLUES
Keith arbeitet viel in deutschland und zur Zeit arbeitet er mit der Band THe LOVE GLOVES zusammen, die auch eine brandneue CD heraus gebracht haben.
